Continuing Education Classes:

Inner Rhythms School of Healing Arts Continuing Education classes are created by and for Professionals in the Massage and Bodywork industries.

Each of our classes are painstakingly researched and structured to give the maximum benefit to each student.

All classes are held at our Clinic location in Vancouver, Washington, with a maximum of eight (8) students per class.

Classes are to be pre-paid at time of enrollment, and Certificates (proof of attendance and successful completion), are awarded for each class.

Reflexology; an Introduction. (00121)

General overview of Reflexology, including some history, theory (how it works), case histories and techniques that Massage Practitioners can utilize right now to increase the effectiveness of their work.

Reflexology is extremely effective in relieving chronic pain. This class is highly recommended for all Massage Practitioners.

This is NOT a Certification class (that's available as part of our School Curriculum). This class is designed to provide additional tools to the working Therapist.

This class is taught by Deanna Ramage, C.At., C.R., C.R.M.
Ms. Ramage has a long and varied history as a student and teacher of the Healing Arts. She is a Certified Aromatherapist, Certified Reflexologist, and Celtic Reiki Master practicing at Inner Rhythms Healing Arts, and as an instructor brings these combined experiences to the classroom in a fun, hands-on method.

Business Practices for Bodyworkers. (00122)

This class looks at the realities of being your own boss; owning your own business, as a Clinic, Spa or other entity.

Class looks in-depth at Location, Banking, creating a Business Plan, licensing/permits, employees vs. contractors, and much more.

Instructor is Eric Donaldson, L.M.P., a working Massage Practitioner and is owner of Inner Rhythms Healing Arts, and Inner Rhythms School of Healing Arts.

3 Credit Hours, 3-hour class. $75.00

Therapeutic Aromatherapy for Bodyworkers. (00123)

This class will be working with formulas for specific ailments, combining essential oil synergies with massage techniques.

For example: chronic low back pain, joint stiffness, respiratory problems, digestive difficulties, anxiety and more.

Includes comprehensive coverage of carrier oils.

Class will start with basics of 'choosing the right oil for the job'.

This class is taught by Deanna Ramage, C.At., C.R., C.R.M.

Celtic Reiki (00124)

This class is an introduction to Celtic Reiki, a form of Energy Work proven to be very complimentary to all other forms of Bodywork.

Class covers history, symbols, techniques and 'hands-on' practice.

Successful completion earns student a 'Level 1 Practitioner' (of three levels) certificate.

Class is split over two sessions to allow for 'processing' time in-between. This class is held on two consecutive Wednesday evenings.

Instructor is Deanna Ramage, C.R., C.R.M. Deanna is a long-time Celtic Reiki Master, a Certified Reflexologist, and Nutritionist, currently creating an Inner Rhythms Cook Book.

6 Credit Hours, 5-hour class. $125.00

Acupressure and Massage; an Overview (00125)

Gain a bit of knowledge of the meridians of Ancient Chinese Medicine, practice with some specific points of pressure, and see how you can help your clients/patients feel even better.

Instructor is Craig Stone, L.Ac.,a Master in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine. Sensei Craig is Director of 'The Way of Health' in Portland, Oregon, a multi-modality center of healing and education.

6 Credit Hours, 5-hour class. $125.00
