Reflexology; an Introduction. (00121)

General overview of Reflexology, including some history, theory (how it works), case histories and techniques that Massage Practitioners can utilize right now to increase the effectiveness of their work.
Reflexology is extremely effective in relieving chronic pain. This class is highly recommended for all Massage Practitioners.
This is NOT a Certification class (that's available as part of our School Curriculum). This class is designed to provide additional tools to the working Therapist.

This class is taught by Deanna Ramage, S.H., C.R., R.M.,C.R.M.
Ms. Ramage has a long and varied history as a student and teacher of the Healing Arts. She is a Sound Healer, Certified Reflexologist, Reiki Master and Celtic Reiki Master practicing at Inner Rhythms Healing Arts. Business Practices for Bodyworkers. (00122)

This class looks at the realities of being your own boss; owning your own business, as a Clinic, Spa or other entity.
Class looks in-depth at Location, Banking, creating a Business Plan, licensing/permits, employees vs. contractors, taxes and much more.

Instructor is Eric Donaldson, L.M.P., a Licensed Massage Practitioner and co-owner of Inner Rhythms Healing Arts.

Therapeutic Aromatherapy for Bodyworkers, (Four parts, 3 to 4 hours each). (00123)

This class covers the history, science and practical application of aromatherapy in a professional setting.
Part I,   In-depth study of essential oils including chemistry and detailed monographs on 50 most popular essential oils.
Part II   Practical Matters: the use and care of essential oils including: suitable application, safety, and blending. Required prerequisite; part I.
Part III  Anatomy and physiology and essential oils. Aromatherapy massage. Required prequisite; parts I and II
Part IV  Special special considerations and application including elder care, premature aging and hospice care. Required prerequisites; parts I,II and III

Celtic Reiki (00124)

This class is an introduction to Celtic Reiki, a form of Energy Work proven to be very complimentary to all other forms of Bodywork.
Class covers history, symbols, techniques and 'hands-on' practice.
Successful completion earns student a 'Level 1 Practitioner' (of three levels) certificate.
Class is split over two sessions to allow for 'processing' time in-between. This class is held on two consecutive Wednesday evenings.

Acupressure and Massage; an Overview (00125)

Gain a bit of knowledge of the meridians of Ancient Chinese Medicine, practice with some specific points of pressure, and see how you can help your clients/patients feel even better.

Techniques and knowledge gained in this workshop will help you better understand the importance of Traditional Chinese Medicine in controlling pain for your clients/patients.
